Great assistance in the additive manufacturing process

Helium in the EBM (Electron Beam Machine) process must be used pure; in the DED (Direct Energy Deposition) process instead, it can be used pure or mixed to explore its ionisation peculiarities like in the laser welding process, boosting speed increase of the entire process. In the PBF (Powder Bed Fusion) process, it is difficult to use, as Helium requires a complete reassessment of the gas blowing and the recirculation systems integratedin the 3D printer machine in the market today.

Thanks to its chemical-physical characteristics, it is the most used gas for all additive manufacturing processes, mostly for those materials that are particularly reactive with oxygen or other air components.
