Nippon Gases Spain inaugurates its new operations centre in Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, Catalonia

The new facilities mark the start of Nippon Gases' activity in Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, following the relocation of its operations.

Nippon Gases, the fourth leading company in the industrial and medical business, has inaugurated its new operations centre in Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, starting at the beginning of 2025 after its relocation from Barcelona.


The opening ceremony, held on the afternoon of 12 May, was attended by the general manager of Nippon Gases Iberia, Justin Corcho; the mayor of Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues, Raül Casado; the president of the Círculo Empresarial Japón España (CEJE), Jorge Lasheras; and the consul general of Japan, Akiko Shikata.


This project in Sant Cugat de Sesgarrigues underscores the Japanese company's company's commitment to sustainability. The primary objectives include energy efficiency, responsible resource use, and carbon emission reduction, which are key for the ecological transition within the industry. The company aims to advance these principles of sustainable development throughout its business operations.
