We will work together in the improvement of the different DED Multi Laser additive manufacturing processes

Nippon Gases, one of the world’s leading industrial and medical gases companies, and Meltio, an equipment manufacturer for producing metal parts based on its disruptive DED Multi Laser technology, have signed a collaboration agreement.

The objective is to work together in the improvement of the different DED Multi Laser additive manufacturing processes used by Meltio utilizing metal wire and powder, as well as in the design of the appropriate systems for a correct and efficient supply of shielding gases, from the supply source to its final use in the equipment.

3D printing process consisting of melting metal, in wire or powder form, using a laser beam. It is characterized by a high production yield and great versatility in its use with a wide range of materials. The process is applicable in innumerable fields, including the repair and manufacture of large parts.
