The report outlines the impact that the company and its solutions have on the environment and in the communities where they operate, by following the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals as the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. The report was compiled in accordance with the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
In a year dominated by the effects of the global pandemic, Nippon Gases exceeded most of its environmental, social and governance targets covering the three areas related to their philosophy: Proactive, Innovative & Collaborative, pillars of the strategy and the purpose behind its sustainability agenda: Making life better through gas technology.

The report published today shares the continued commitment and progress in Nippon Gases’ sustainability focus areas, which include resource optimization, energy efficiency, water usage, waste management, minimizing emissions, and customers sustainable technology solutions. Nippon Gases states in the Sustainability report its commitment to safety -priority number one for the company-, compliance and ethical behavior, diversity, talent management and community engagement.
