Ozone to minimise sludge management

In many cases, the management of the sludge produced from the biological process represents one of the highest costs in the treatment plant.

The ozonation of the sludge within the biological process, in the external recirculation, achieves a reduction of up to 70% of the sludge generated.

Ozone can break the outer layer of the microorganism, transforming it into biodegradable organic matter, which will be consumed by the process itself.
