The Hürth

The Hürth air separation unit is Nippon Gases Europe largest single production unit.

It supplies nitrogen to various chemical customers in the closer neighborhood for whom the gas serves as safety medium in many of their production processes. It also produces oxygen e. g. for the medical gas used by hospitals and other medical institutions and Argon for various applications such as welding or metal production. The plant is also home to a large filling station for all kind of industrial gases.
