Oxygen for Metalfabrication Industry

The comburent gas par excellence.

Not just Oxyfuel technology

The main characteristic of oxygen is that it is a comburent. Used for the thermal cutting (oxyfuel, plasma and laser) of carbon steel, precisely because it has the ability to react with the carbon contained in the steel generating heat that continues to feed the process.

Oxygen it is used in small percentages mixed with Argon to obtain a good aesthetic welding of carbon steel or some high alloy steels.

Nitrogen for Metalfabrication Industry
Nitrogen is a gas which under normal conditions is considered inert, but if subjected to extreme conditions, such as during the welding process, it can become reactive. Generally used to inert the ustenitic steels for root protection, it is also used in small percentages in argon for the welding of Duplex and Superduplex steels as it allows to maintain the metallurgical characteristics of these particular steels unaltered.
