Carbon Dioxide for use in the Metal Fabrication Industry

Hydrogen in TIG and MAG welding of austenitic steels
In 2013, the ISO 9606-1 standard came into force. This certification defines the requirements for the certification of welders. To comply with this standard, the concept of reducing mixture was introduced and confirmed.

Gases we use
Since the 70s, welding gases have started an evolution that has accompanied the growth of welding machines, influencing and increasing the processes.
Argon for Additive manufacturing
Thanks to its chemical-physical characteristics, it is the most used gas for all additive manufacturing processes, mostly for those materials that are particularly reactive with oxygen or other air components.
Nitrogen fo Additive manufacturing
Under normal conditions nitrogen is an inert gas but which at high temperatures can react with some materials also used in 3D printing. The use of nitrogen in this process is indicated for austenitic steel powders.
