Nippon Gases Italia, in line with its growth objectives, reaffirms its commitment to actively contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, by integrating principles of environmental, social, and economic responsibility into all its activities. In this context, the company is pleased to present the Sustainability Report FYE2025, published voluntarily for the sixth consecutive year.
Drafted in accordance with international GRI standards and aligned with the policies of the European parent company and the Japanese headquarters, the Report represents a strategic opportunity to transparently share the company’s achievements in terms of reducing environmental impacts, lowering energy consumption, protecting natural resources while ensuring respect for people, supporting employee growth, fostering talent, and promoting a collective sense of responsibility for a fairer and more sustainable future.
The Report has been reviewed by EY, confirming the transparency and accuracy of the information presented, and highlights how the company places sustainability at the center of all its activities, from the supply of products and services to the management of relationships with employees, partners, and stakeholders.
The Report emphasizes the central role of people within Nippon Gases: every day, with passion and dedication, they collaborate to achieve company goals and complete projects. It is thanks to cooperation and team spirit that the company can continue to improve and grow sustainably. Safeguarding health and safety in the workplace is an absolute priority. Nippon Gases believes that true change takes shape when energies come together: commitment becomes action, collaboration turns into shared growth, and innovation paves the way for a more sustainable future.

The Report is structured into four main chapters. The first, “Who We Are”, presents the history of Nippon Gases Italia Group and its corporate structure, with a particular focus on its concrete commitment to a more responsible, inclusive, and technologically advanced future, through the adoption of an action plan with specific targets for achieving its sustainability goals.
The second, “Together, We Create Social Value”, describes the activities, initiatives, and tools through which the company generates value, highlighting governance, integrity standards, and management systems.
The third, “Together, Towards a Low-Carbon World”, explains how Nippon Gases, through its products and technologies, supports customers in their journey towards ecological transition and carbon neutrality, by reducing CO₂ emissions, improving energy efficiency, and promoting the responsible use of natural resources while optimizing fossil fuel consumption. It also illustrates circular economy initiatives and waste valorization, showing how the company applies its technical and scientific know-how to enable a low-carbon future.
Finally, the fourth chapter, “Together, We Grow Stronger”, outlines how Nippon Gases values diversity, develops the skills and talents of its employees, and fosters shared growth, thereby strengthening competitiveness and stakeholder trust.
