This recognition reaffirms the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility, reflected in its commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives.
EcoVadis is a globally trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, with a network surpassing 150,000 rated companies. Its evaluation takes into account four key areas: Environment, Ethics, Human and Labour Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. Nippon Gases’ rating reflects significant progress, with an overall score of 94/100, its highest rating so far, placing the company among the top 1% of companies in its industry worldwide. This year’s rating showed notable improvements in the Environment & Climate Change and Ethics. The company maintained its exceptional ratings in Labour & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement categories.
This achievement highlights Nippon Gases' proactive efforts in addressing key challenges, including climate action, diversity and inclusion, employee well-being, with a particular focus on safety, as well as ethical standards and human rights through its operations and supply chain.
