Anagni, 20th June 2025 - The inauguration of the new area of the Nippon Gases Italia plant located at SR 6 - via Casilina 114 in Anagni (FR) took place yesterday, Thursday 19th June, with great success.
The event saw the important presence of numerous guests, including representatives of local and regional institutions, the mayor of Anagni Daniele Natalia, Roberta Angelilli - Councillor for Economic Development and Vice-President of the Lazio Region - and Daniele Maura, Regional Council of Lazio - College of Frosinone, who were able to dedicate their precious time to share the enthusiasm of the new initiative with the entire Nippon Gases team, management and employees.
The Anagni plant represents Nippon Gases' main production site for the packaging and supply of technical, food, special and medical gases in central and southern Italy. Built in the 1960s under the name Rivoira, the plant still maintains a strong sense of belonging to the company, which characterises its culture and identity.
Over the years, several investments have been made, mainly for the modernisation of production facilities and the expansion of the range of products distributed to the market.
The latest important investment made is dedicated to improving the well-being of employees, the colleagues who contribute to the company's success every day.
The ceremony opened with a welcome greeting from Eduina Marino CEO and President of the Nippon Gases Italia Group: "I would like to thank all my colleagues for their commitment and patience during the works, which have allowed us to achieve a result we can be proud of. A special thanks goes to the institutions, whose support was fundamental both for the success of the project and for strengthening the link with the territory. The passion and cooperation demonstrated by everyone makes Anagni a virtuous example of how, by joining forces, we can achieve important goals and continue to invest in the future."
Among the official speeches, Roberta Angelilli, Councillor for Economic Development Productive Activities, Commerce, Industry, Handicrafts and Internationalization and Vice President of the Lazio Region, 'In Lazio, Nippon Gases is present in Anagni and Pontinia, confirming the Region's attractiveness for foreign investments, particularly from Japan. Exports to Japan are growing and interest in the region is continuously increasing. New work and training spaces were inaugurated today, also in collaboration with local universities. The company has recently invested in a new oxygen therapy department to strengthen the medical sector, and other investment projects are being evaluated. The Lazio Region continues to support the attraction of investments,' Angelilli continues, 'both for new settlements and for the strengthening of existing realities. A call for tenders dedicated to this objective will be presented in Brussels next week."
And Daniele Maura, Regional Council of Lazio - College of Frosinone: 'I would like to thank the President and CEO - Ing. At the end of the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were able to take part in a guided tour of the plant and a convivial moment with typical local products.
The inauguration of the new spaces, including a canteen, offices with a meeting room, and an area dedicated to training, was a significant moment for the Anagni production facility. It was a moment of encounter between employees, management, community and territory, confirming the deep bond that Nippon Gases intends to continue to cultivate.
